Ammar Yousaf - SVP (Senior Vice President), Transformation

Ammar joined Bill Gosling in 2012, and while Information Technology has been a lifelong passion, his focus has now expanded to leading organizational transformation. Ammar drives innovation and efficiency across the company by implementing cutting-edge AI and automation technologies to enhance employee and customer experiences. He spearheads our transformation strategy, overseeing the development and execution of initiatives aimed at improving performance, agility, and innovation. Ammar's curiosity and passion for technology keep him at the forefront of advancements, ensuring our company stays ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.

Chris Hague - SVP (Senior Vice President), Operations UK

Chris joined Bill Gosling in 2024 with over 25 years experience within financial services, including over 10 years working for global banking groups. He has mainly managed operations in the UK, but also in Switzerland and the Netherlands, and has spent several months working in Spain. His areas of responsibility have spanned collections and recoveries leadership for secured and unsecured credit products, client / 3rd party management, business transformation, and operational strategy and analytics.

Away from work Chris is an avid rugby fan and has travelled to 4 continents to watch different games and tournaments.

Ashish Malhotra – SVP (Senior Vice President), Operations India

Results driven senior executive offering 22+ years of experience in ITeS industry with extensive exposure in designing innovative solutions for business operations, managing business transformation, solutioning and transition programs predominantly within Procurement and Customer Service functions, engagement/relationship management, business development for BPM/Shared Services and project management.

Global implementation experience across countries including US, UK, India, New Zealand, Ireland, Italy, Germany, Spain, Greece, Portugal and South Africa. Multiple industry exposure including banking, financial services, telecom and software services with focus on building and scaling teams while collaborating with cross functional resources to ensure seamless project execution

Hobbies - playing sport (cricket, volleyball and squash), like exploring new places, travelling.

Dave Rae - Executive Chairman

Dave started working in the debt collection industry for his father’s company (John Rae) in the summers during his high school and university years. In 1983 Dave headed to the UK to work in the business for a few years, returning to Canada after 3 years. John had previously exited the industry in Canada and wanted to start again, so Dave joined up and got the new Canadian business running with John in 1986. Four years later, Dave bought the entire business from John, bringing in four partners that were part of the management team.

With 100 employees at the time, Dave had a goal to build a culture that was very different than the collection industry was known for at the time. Through his journey, he was exposed to some external influencers (including Ken Blanchard, the author of Gung Ho) that helped create The Allied Way (known today as The Gosling Theory), which laid the foundation for how we aspire to engage with our employees, or Gosling’s as they are known as internally. Today these principles are stronger than ever and continue to support Bill Gosling’s values and vision.

As the business has grown and Dave sees a few more grey hairs, he’s been able to leave the heavy lifting of growth and operations to Kenny Johnston (President and CEO) and team, allowing him to focus on his current passion of learning, strategy and sharing his experiences and thoughts for the future company success.

Dave’s focus on the next chapter for Bill Gosling’s planned growth is based on a tripod plan of organic, new products and services and strategic acquisitions. Dave continues to build his network globally and participates with external peer groups keeping him exposed to new and creative ideas that benefit all relevant stakeholders. In his free time, you might find him listening to music, often while drumming, golfing or out on the water.

Matt Nicolai VP (Vice President), Operations Costa Rica

“With a lot less grey in his beard, Matt joined the Bill Gosling flock back in 2009. Since then, Matt has spent the past 15+ years using his competitive nature and “Never Satisfied” approach to deliver outstanding results for our clients, in a variety of roles within the company. In 2024, Matt took on his newest challenge by relocating to Costa Rica to help lead our Operations teams.

Away from the office, Matt is a diehard Toronto sports fan with a lifelong passion for the Maple Leafs, Blue Jays & Raptors. When not cheering for his favorite team, Matt can be found on the golf course or playing recreational sports such as basketball, hockey & soccer.”

Janine Burch – SVP (Senior Vice President), HR Global

Janine is a seasoned HR professional with over 20 years experience in Human Resource management. As the SVP, HR global, Janine oversees all our human capital functions globally including HR, Recruitment, Payroll, Learning and People Development. Throughout her career, Janine has demonstrated a strong passion to drive engaging work environments, that fosters employee growth and development. In her spare time, Janine is an amateur interior design fan and enjoys swimming and spending time with her family and friends.

Jason Henning – SVP (Senior Vice President), SVP Sales and Enterprise Growth

When Bill Gosling branched out into offshore with our Philippines operations in 2012, Jason joined the flock, bringing more than a decade of experience in International Operations. Today as the quarterback of our non-domestic operations, this former football player and motorcycle enthusiast is one of the busiest people in the company. In an average year Jason will fly more than 250,000 miles between several of our global offices.

Joseph Fanutti – CIO (Chief Integration Officer)

Joe served as our trusty CFO at Bill Gosling since 2009, but was aching for a change outside of crunching numbers and financial management.

Today, Joe embraces new challenges as our Chief Integration Officer (CIO), where he spends his time building organizational capacity, evaluating acquisitions, and bringing together people, process, and technology to reshape the future of Bill Gosling – sounds easy, right? When he isn’t solving complex business problems, you can find him volunteering his time at charities and tinkering with his cars.

Kenny Johnston - President and CEO

Joining Bill Gosling in 1993 in Glasgow, Scotland, Kenny has worked in many positions throughout the company, with his final position in the UK being Managing Director. Eager for more growth, learning and responsibility, Kenny purchased a Canada Goose jacket and headed west to the suburbs of Toronto with family in tow.

As the President, Kenny runs the day-to-day operations, leading the growth, and the operational health of Bill Gosling. Not only is Kenny very passionate about his own development, he loves coaching and working with people to make them better, a core value of the company. During his tenure, Kenny has become a skilled conductor with a mission of removing obstacles for the management teams globally.

Kenny’s personal pastime includes a rigorous training schedule of biking, running and swimming, as he prepares for his participation in various triathlons and at least one Ironman each year, with a goal to participate at the in the Kohala Coast, Ironman in Hawaii.

Martin Roseweir – SVP (Senior Vice President), Global Delivery

Martin joined Bill Gosling in 1998 and is critical to the success of our UK organization. After leading the UK team for over a decade, he now supports global operations and strategic projects, playing a key role in shaping the company’s global strategy, building client relationships, and developing initiatives to enhance productivity and improve processes.

Martin leads the Quality Assurance (QA), Project Management, and Global Client Success teams, driving operational excellence and delivering meaningful insights and exceptional results for our clients worldwide.

Martin's competitive nature keeps him driven to succeed and outperform our competition.

As a Fellow of the Chartered Institution of Credit Management, Martin sits on their Think Tank as well as a long-time judge of the British Credit Awards.

Melissa Hurley – VP (Vice President), Learning and Talent Development

Melissa Hurley joined Bill Gosling in 2020 and is Vice President of Learning and People Development; focused on global learning and leadership development strategies. She has teams in 4 continents and brings her passion of learning, leadership, coaching and people development to develop teams in our contact centers around the world. She brings with her 15 years of contact center experience from the financial industry in operations, client experience, sales, operational effectiveness and employee development.

Melissa is a passionate people person who is driven to help people achieve their goals, pursue personal growth and is focused on developing leaders at all levels across Bill Gosling. In less than two years as a member of the Flock Melissa has launched a Coaching Framework, Interaction Model, centralized the learning function and built new roles and focus on building coaches and talent at all levels.

Mel is a proud mama of 2 young kids, has a new fur baby and brings her Newfoundland down-home charm and humor to everything she does. She's also a big fan of true crime and sharing a laugh with anyone who will make the time.

Natasha Singh – SVP (Senior Vice President), Operations Americas

Natasha Singh AKA “ Nat” joined Bill Gosling Outsourcing in 2002. Her career spans 22+ years in the BPO industry with experience in Operations and Talent Acquisition .She is a devoted mother of 2 boys and wife, and dog mom to 2 English Bulldogs, a passionate advocate against human trafficking. Currently holding the role of SVP of Operations at Bill Gosling Outsourcing. Natasha has recently assumed the role of Senior Vice President of Americas Operations. In this capacity, Natasha manages operations across the entire Americas, while leading a global team operating in four countries and eight offices. Natasha is her relentless pursuit of knowledge. She is deeply committed to lifelong learning, as demonstrated by her ongoing studies at Queen's University. Beyond her professional endeavors, Natasha's heart is dedicated to the cause of Rahab's Daughters, an organization fervently combating human trafficking. Natasha's recent appointment to their Board of Directors underscores her significant impact on their noble mission.

Phil Newfeld – SVP (Senior Vice President), Strategic Operations

Since 1998 Phil has been a bright light in the company. Phil is responsible ensuring operational excellence and strategy at Bill Gosling working with a variety of teams from WFM, analytics, operations and more. We think that Phil’s super powers with numbers and details are fueled by sweets, otherwise how else does he not gain any weight?

Steve Mendoza – CFO (Chief Financial Officer)

Levy Steve Mendoza Joined Bill Gosling in 2022. He is an operational and finance professional that brings close to 20 years of experience from various multinational companies. As the CFO of Bill Gosling, he is at the forefront of financial leadership, business partnering and carving a path towards marginal growth. He provides strategic advice on company decisions to ensure they are financial sound. When he is not reviewing financial reports or providing strategic support, you can find Levy with his kids at the hockey rink all year round as he volunteers as their head coach.

David Clements – VP (Vice President), Operations Costa Rica

When Bill Gosling entered Latin America in 2019, David was there to support the expansion. His energy, enthusiasm and great big smile are the heart of our Costa Rican Operations.

David has over 21 years of BPO experience, including 14 years in offshore leadership, and even though he didn’t speak any Spanish when he first moved to Costa Rica, he is now fluent in the language.

Mike Mattsen – SVP (Senior Vice President), NEQQO and Quality

Mike Mattsen brings over 30 years of executive leadership in the BPO industry. He has a proven track record of establishing and scaling high-performing operations across the Americas and Asia. Mike has successfully opened, managed, and expanded BPO operations comprising thousands of seats throughout his career, delivering exceptional results for Fortune 500 clients.

His extensive Quality experience intensified in 2002 when he co-founded HyperQuality Inc., the first third-party BPO company dedicated exclusively to providing the full range of Quality services to Fortune 1000 clients. The development of transformative, full-suite quality management platforms formed through evaluations of millions of customer transactions became the foundation for today's NEQQO Quality Management platform.

As Senior Vice President of NEQQO and Quality, Mike continues to leverage his strategic vision and operational acumen to enhance service delivery, foster innovation, and uphold the highest quality standards for clients worldwide.

Aarati Kumar – MD (Managing Director) - India

Aarati Kumar has over 26 years of experience across various domains. She is one of the first female international BPO general managers across all of Asia and has held various leadership roles.

In addition to wearing many hats, she has launched two widely successful start-ups from ground zero in this market and is the go to person for any outsourcing solutions.

Gaye Quintana – VP (Vice President), Operations Philippines

Since 2015 Gaye has been the on-site leadership for our Philippines Operations and has over 19 years of experience in the BPO/contact center space. While at Bill Gosling Gaye has been able to continue to hone her expertise in 1st and 3rd party collections for our financial and retail clients and mentor her team to continually drive better results.

When she is not busy with her 6 kids, she treats herself to some 'Retail Therapy', pizza, or binge-watches a whole series with coffee in hand.

Abdullah – Director, Service Desk

Abdullah joined Bill Gosling in 2022 and has a genuine passion for technology and helping others. Leading our IT team, Abdullah’s expertise goes beyond troubleshooting or keeping the day to day Technology Operation running. He is committed to working with and guiding his team on their professional and personal career paths. With a contagious enthusiasm for IT, he ensures that our systems not only run smoothly, but also ensures to maintain a streamlined SLA with support to our business, our clients and staff.

When he’s not tackling IT issues, he can be found outdoors hiking, bird watching or spending time with family and friends.

Amanda Faris - Director of Compliance

Amanda joined Bill Gosling Outsourcing in 2016, joining our compliance department where she remains to this day. Amanda oversees our global regulatory compliance departments and contract management. Amanda enjoys working with our clients to help share knowledge on compliance issues within the world of business process outsourcing. Outside of work, Amanda loves to go to live music events, hike the great outdoors and cheer on her beloved Toronto Raptors.

Cherry Siu - Chief Of Staff

Cherry started at Bill Gosling in 2022 with a background in Business Transformation and M&A Consulting. As Chief of Staff, she serves as a key advisor to the executive team, oversees strategic initiatives, integrate between departments and ensure effective execution of leadership’s vision.

Adrian Sharples - Chief Strategy Officer

Adrian Sharples brings over 25 years of global leadership experience in finance and procurement, driving operations for companies ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 giants. As a qualified accountant and seasoned finance professional, he has optimized profitability and financial performance at the CFO level. Adrian's expertise spans advisory finance, business process outsourcing, managed services, and ESG initiatives.

Previously, as an executive at an enterprise AI company, he led the development and implementation of an advanced AI platform that revolutionized clients' sourcing strategies. A global supply chain management visionary, Adrian excels in creating and executing procurement strategies. He is also a member of a leading network insights group, contributing to the latest trends in finance and procurement. Adrian's broad industry expertise covers financial services, technology, private equity, consumer markets, and industrial sectors, making him an invaluable asset to Bill Gosling Outsourcing's leadership team.

Gaurav Rai - SVP (Senior Vice President), Analytics and Technology Solutions

With over 20 years in data science and product management, Gaurav specializes in guiding companies towards innovative, data-driven solutions. Key achievements include the launch of a pioneering Speech Analytics solution and the development of comprehensive data driven product roadmaps. Expertise in AI, NLP, machine learning, and Six Sigma, enables him to drive product strategy and innovation at an enterprise level.

Sonali Banerjee - SVP (Senior Vice President) HR

With over 18 years of comprehensive experience in Human Resources management, Sonali Banerjee is a seasoned HR professional dedicated to fostering a positive and inclusive workplace environment. Leading a team of HR professionals in implementing strategic HR initiatives ,specializing in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management and organizational development. Her commitment to promoting employee engagement and developing effective HR strategies has contributed significantly to the success and growth of the organizations . Sonali’s strategic approach to HR aligns with the company's goals, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Mellisa Lambert - VP (Vice President), Talent Acquisition

Melissa joined Bill Gosling Outsourcing in Jan of 2023 as Vice President of Talent Acquisition; focused on attracting, recruiting and retaining Goslings and creating a positive, memorable migration into the business for all. She brings with her over 20+ years of contact centre experience from the BPO and Financial service industry leading HR, Sales, Training, Customer Experience and Operations teams. She took a brief pause from formal team leadership for a chapter in her career; as a Senior Consultant at a startup focused on two of her passions, coaching/people development and testing new concepts.

Melissa values learning, well-being and time with family. She is the very proud mama of a 19-year-old daughter and a 3-year-old dog who keep her busy, smiling and grateful. When not at work, you can find Melissa on a soccer pitch cheering on her daughter or at the family cottage in Muskoka swimming or reading on the dock. She is an aspiring gardener, sadly without the required green thumb.
